According to the recent news from NYTimes, Facebook spokesman confirmed Thursday 22nd march that, Facebook purchased huge list of software and networking technology patents from the leading IPO Company IBM (International Business Machine Corp.,). This purchase mainly focused for help to counter the allegations of Patent infringement.According to the Bloomberg, Facebook Inc (FB) bought patents which includes at least of 56 issued patents and 503 filed US Patent applications.
The exact amount is not revealed of purchased so far. But millons of dollars spent across and this is quiet big deals - said Erin-Michael Gill, the managing director of MDB capital Group LLC.
